Discovery of an Existentially Challenged Banana

If bananas could think, what would occupy their minds?
Would variation in curvature be a point of difference between fellow bananas, or maybe the luminosity of their yellow skin?
Social animals want to fit into a group, but bananas grow in a bunch: would they want to express their individuality?
Or perhaps embrace their kin?
Bananas start life green with envy and then turn yellow with … what? Love? Hostility? Acceptance? Indifference?
This piece asks the viewer to consider, ponder, and then think about what it might mean to be a self-conscious banana.
