This piece wants to prompt a contemplation of deriving joy from sensory objects that usually are shunned.

Why do we dismiss the sounds around us? Do we ignore them or fail to appreciate their beauty?

Perhaps we should do more to control how we feel about the sounds we’ve invited into our world.

Life would be easier if we could be happy listening to the sounds of the motorway as well as the sound of bird song.
